Many people ask: what is potato flour? Why would we need flour made from potato?
Potato flour is not flour in the classic sense. It is the pure natural starch from selected potatoes, also known as potato starch. Our organic potato flour is a tried and tested cooking aid, particularly suitable for binding sauces and soups, which, above all, is gluten-free. It also makes every bake particularly light, if 1/3 of the conventional flour is replaced by potato starch.
Always mix the potato flour into cold fluid, add to hot food and leave to boil briefly.
