But you don’t always want to use artificial food colouring. That’s where plant ingredients – such as beetroot – come into play. However, using these involves a lot of effort, messy hands and stained clothing.
With our natural food colouring, you can add a splash of colour to sweet and savoury dishes in a few easy steps. Our blue food colouring gets its stunning hue from the blue algae spirulina. The agave syrup eclipses the spirulina flavour in the colouring, which gives glazes, creams, pie fillings, fondant and marzipan a stunning blue hue – no additives required.
Our natural food colouring is also vegan and gluten-free!
