Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate mousse is a classic dessert: light, airy chocolate with a dark chocolate flavour and melt-in-the-mouth chocolate pieces – the ingredients speak for themselves.

This French sweet has won the hearts of chocoholics around the globe. Yet it’s not that simple to make. Our RUF Chocolate Mousse, however, is quite different. It’s incredibly easy to make. Simply beat the mix with milk, chill and enjoy the French joie de vivre together.

When cooled properly, you can also serve it to your guests as a stylish quenelle.

What else you’ll need

  • 250 ml (1/4 l) cold milk (1.5% fat)

Preparation

  1. Pour 250 ml (1/4 l) cold milk into a tall mixing vessel rinsed out with hot water and add the contents of the sachet.
  2. Use an electric mixer (whisk) to beat at the lowest setting first of all, then the highest setting for 3 minutes.
  3. The cream can now be poured into dessert glasses or a glass bowl and placed in the fridge for at least an hour.
  4. The mousse tastes best when eaten straight after mixing.
  5. The cream should not be kept in the fridge for any longer than one day!

sugar, low fat cocoa powder (22%), vegetable oil, partially hydrogenated (palm), glucose syrup, modified starch, 5,5 % grated chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier lecithins), gelatine, emulsifiers (E 471 and E 472a), milk protein, salt.
