RUF Cake Flour is not a flour in the classic sense. In short, our cake flour is a classic (almost ready-made) sponge mix. But it’s so easy to make that it’s the simplest sponge mix there is. All the ingredients can be mixed together right away, whether they’re the same temperature or not. Once mixed, it’s ready for anything: whether it’s a cupcake, layer cake, tray bake or loaf cake – whatever the shape or colour, the dough will rise perfectly. The fine, buttery note of vanilla will make any bake shine. But that’s not all: our cake flour is the perfect foundation for other tasty morsels. Simply add poppyseeds, lemon or orange flavouring, almonds, hazelnuts, cocoa or other ingredients and you’ve whipped up the dough you need. This fine recipe is a winner in every guise.
